However, since 2020 they've practiced a no photography policy to preserve the dignity of the dead which I find highly ironic since the dead have already had their bones repurposed as weird ornaments. And there's a souvenir counter selling skull fridge magnets, skull t-shirts, and even life sized replica skulls.”

Of course the Sedlec Ossuary was the highlight (too bad pictures are not allowed because of disrespectful abuse on social media), but the other sites were very beautiful and interesting too. However the highlight of the trip was our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history, good humor, and a surprisingly great singing voice that we got to hear when he gave an impromptu demonstration of the acoustics in the Corpus Cristi Chapel. Beautiful!! And he also plays a good flute, cleverly used to heard his sheep. 😁😁 Was a very pleasant day, highly recommended.”
